Bio

Carole has enjoyed a successful career as a songwriter/singer.

Beginning with her attending the High School of Music & Art in New York City, she began developing a strong appreciation for art, although music was her major. While attending New York University, she also studied Art History and over the years has dabbled in drawing and painting

carolebayersager_studioFive years ago she started studying with Manny Cosentino, after another hiatus from painting she began this past year studying with Manny again, himself  is a formally trained, realist artist. Since then, she has also been studying with Frank Ryan, a graduate of UCLA graduate studies in art.

Her admiration and friendship with Roger Herman, staff professor for UCLA undergraduate and graduate art program, has led her to study with Greta Waller, who is currently studying graduate work at UCLA and is helping Carole develop her own personal style. While Carole hasn’t formally studied directly under Roger Herman, he oversees her progress and she considers him a mentor.

Currently exhibiting at the LA Art House in Los Angeles, Carole paints and exchanges ideas with her fellow artists, often considering LA Art House her second studio.

Carole is currently working on her first one person show which will contain both figurative paintings and abstracts.

Her realistic portraits are part of a series called, “Power Chairs!” soon to be painted are Nora Ephron, Nicole Kidman, Kenny “Babyface”: Edmonds, Michael Goven, and Cesar Milani, the Dog Whisperer.

She currently paints both figuratively and abstractly.
